Hello there! My name's Chelsy Spicer and I am the artist behind Spiced Ink. My roots are in Pittsburgh though I'm currently living in the beautiful state of New Mexico. I have been crafting & painting my way through life for as long as I can remember, teaching myself along the way. Two years ago when I moved to the Land of Enchantment, that's when I discovered my love for using a more unique canvas for my art; cow skulls. Collaborating with some of earth's most beautiful sculptures, I create one of a kind pieces that bring beauty and power to any room. 

The process of bringing a new life to these skulls start with the polishing of the horns, where I really start to get the vision for the piece. Each set of horns is so stunningly different, hues running up and down the neatral scale. I then pair a southwest inspired color scheme with the horns & an original design that compliments the composition of the skull. With each skull, I inspire to bring a southwest style mixed with geometric designs to create one of a kind works of art. 
As I evolve as an artist, my creative style does as well, always bringing new elements into the process. I have such passion for what I do and am so grateful that I'm able to spice of people's lives, one wall at the time!
